The quality of your communication with other profiles set your communication level. The quality of your comments. The quality of your hashtags. The quality of your connections. I always like to mention that it’s not anymore about just right hashtags or how many comments or likes you get under your pictures.
The real question is…
How many of those who leave comments or likes become your clients? So today we will talk all about those valuable relationships in social media. About this engagement and 4 steps to make it valuable and profitable.
🔑 Start connecting with others – don’t just wait.
I could be like a broken record when it comes to this one. You also need to start connecting with others. The strategy that I like to share with my students is – find your ideal customer profiles in social media, and start leaving meaningful comments under their pictures. Engage with them. Start following profiles that you want to connect with.
It’s not about selling from the start. It’s about gaining their trust. It’s about you showing them that you care. Not only about money, but about your followers.
TIP: Think about what is your Ideal Customer looking for under the hashtags? Use those! But also – go to your potential client’s profiles and start interacting with them in a meaningful way.
🔑 Clarify your BIO – They NEED to know who you are, and how you can help them.
Your bio can be a sales machine or… not. You don’t have that much place to share your message that’s why you should be extra short & clear with your introduction.
Golden Bio Formula:
line #1 – What you do professionally
line #2 – For who?
line #3 – CTA
Add emoji to every line to make your Instagram bio clear and bold and also easy to read.
TIP: Your bio & your name (not @ handle) should not be your name because if you’re a coach – people won’t be searching for “XYZ COACH” but just “Life Coach” This is your keyword. Keep your bio short, clean and straight to point. Remember about the link and CTA. –
🔑 Want clients? Want to make a business online? Stop building your social media around you and start building them AROUND YOUR CUSTOMERS.
Get to know your ideal customer even more. Go to groups where they may hang out and check what kind of questions are they asking. Visit your competitor’s profile and go to the comment section to check what are people asking about. Go to your ideal customers’ profiles. Check which hashtags are they using – and use those to show up. The more you know your market and the better you know your Ideal Customer Avatar the easier it will be for you to create the right kind of content for them. Clarity is the key.
TIP: They don’t visit your profile only to check how you’re doin’! Your profile should be a major resource library of tips, tools, strategies and a place where people love to hangout.
